We, Meanwhile is an animated comedy about ordinary life, quiet absurdities, and the strange places your mind goes when nothing particularly important is happening.

It’s about conversations, distractions, small disasters, questionable conclusions, and all the moments in between the things that are supposed to matter.

Some ideas need company.

We’re open to working with independent creators, studios, musicians, filmmakers, festivals, publications and platforms when there’s a good reason to make something together.

That might mean a joint short, a special episode, music or sound, a crossover between projects, festival or editorial participation, or something we haven’t thought of yet. The format matters less than finding an idea that belongs to both sides.

Patreon is where we put the things that grow around the main series: special episodes, Saturday Noir, occasional themed stories, bloopers, backstage material, experiments, and things that simply don’t belong anywhere else.

Supporting the project helps us keep making We, Meanwhile independently and gives us more room to spend time on ideas that are larger, stranger, or simply more difficult to make.

Our work combines writing, direction, animation, generative tools, sound, music and traditional post-production into a small-scale independent production process.
